Lulu sucks, lulu rip-off, lulu cheats, lulu
is dishonest, don’t use Lulu!!
How many more are being sold and I am not being paid?

has been highly ranked on the internet both through my
site, Amazon, and You Tube yet Lulu only shows one sale
in two years. |

I discovered shortly after
publishing with Lulu that a friend bought a copy and
Lulu had not credited me for the sale. I contacted them
by email and they promised to record the new sale. It
never happened!
I bought 5 books through Amazon and 1 more through
Lulu as a customer and still no credit for the sales.
These were not author discounts but actual customer
sales.
I have discovered two more friends who bought the book,
and again still no credit for their purchases. It makes
me wonder how many more being sold and I am not being
paid?
I am collecting others who want to join me in a class
action suit. |

if anyone else is having similar problems and discovered

I purchased a couple of sets of e-books from Lulu within
a period of a few weeks. When I attempted to download
the last set of e-books one e-book failed to download
(numerous attempts). I e-mailed customer support (yes,
totally ineffective) and it took days to receive a reply.
When the reply finally came it consisted of a long list
of self-help links, which of course I had already went
through (due to my long wait for assistance). The above
stated initial reply stated that I could email him/her
back if the links failed to provide a fix to my problem,
which I did and received NO reply. I continued to e-mail
the rep and Lulu customer service, you guessed it right,
without receiving a reply. This incidence forced me
to use the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in an effort
to attain a refund. This is ridiculous behavior from
a company, especially from a company of this size. Unfortunately,
Lulu has 157 complaints within the BBB web site database!
Continued behaviors such as these displays an intent
to capture profits (defraud customers) with minimal
output with regard to products and/or services. Unbelievable!

Hello. I only know if 1 book that didn't
get credited to me and the only proof I have would be
the people without their P.O. number would have to be
subpoenaed. I'm not sure it is worth it for me, however,
if you need more people I would be willing, because I
truly believe Lulu is fraudulent and needs to be stopped
and put in their place. In fact, they don't like me over
there so much, because of the stink I made over it (and
posted something on their site and others have made similar
comments about not getting their sales) that they automatically
delete anything I post in reply...
Let me know if there's anything I can do and if you can,
keep me updated, as nothing would please me more than
to see those jerks be brought down. I know they are stealing
our money (actually, I stopped selling from them and went
to Amazon), but they are stealing others and I do believe
I read somewhere that they were having financial trouble,
which would be motive...

I am a publisher of 20+ years so I've adapted from
traditional offset print runs to new POD business models.
I've used CreateSpace and Lulu and Lightning Print,
and all I can say is that Lulu SUCKS!!! Unless you're
a masochist and enjoy mental anguish and wasting tons
of time and money- DO NOT USE LULU! There is absolutely
nothing Lulu can do for you that is worth committing
your content to them. Why do business with a company
that won't dignify the relationship by speaking to you
over the telephone? Remember that archaic device that
you actually speak into and in real-time the person
on the other end can hear your words and the incredible
frustration in your voice? Lulu-- can you hear me? Invest
in a telephone system. |
